The Japanese government will be conducting a Census on October 1, 2020.
The Census is the most important statistical survey and is held once every five years.

Survey Method
Around middle of September, a Census Taker will visit your household and will distribute the Census survey documents by putting them into your mailbox. Response of the survey will be collected by on-line, by mail or by the Census Taker’s interview.
Result of the Census
The results of the Census will be arranged as government data and will be used for measures such as city planning to make life easier for foreign residents.
Privacy Policy
Your responses will be protected and kept confidentially by statistics low, and will only be used to create statistics. So please fill out accurately.
