The following days are expected to be particularly crowded at the c government building, Window 1ounter.
- Mondays, Fridays, and days when the office is open after holidays
- March and April, when there are many address changes
- Days when the office is open around major holidays such as Golden Week and New Year’s holidays
- Days of events such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas
- Days that are same numbers in Japanese (e.g. February 22)
- Days that are anniversaries in Japanese syllabary (e.g. November 22)
- Days considered auspicious, such as “Taian” and “Ichiryumanbaibi”
Procedures that can be done without going to the counter
There are procedures that can be done by mail or online if you have a “My Number card”.
