In order to reduce waste and make effective use of resources, the town will offer free collection of small home appliances and used clothing and cloths that are no longer needed at home.

The following items (equipment subject to the Law for Promotion of Recycling of Used Small Electronic Equipment, etc. (Small Home Appliance Recycling Law)) are subject to the Law.
- Wired communication machinery and apparatus, such as talking machines and facsimile machines; wireless communication machinery and apparatus, such as cell phone terminals and PHS terminals
- Radio receivers, film cameras
- Video machinery and apparatus, such as digital cameras, video cameras and DVD recorders; electrical audio machinery and apparatus, such as digital audio players and stereo sets
- Personal computers Storage devices such as magnetic and optical disk drives, printing devices such as printers, display devices such as displays
- Electronic toys and motorized toys, such as electronic book terminals, electronic and electric musical instruments, and game consoles
- Electric appliances for kitchen use, such as electric sewing machines, rice cookers and microwave ovens (excluding refrigerators and freezers) Electrical machinery and appliances for clothing or sanitary use, such as electric irons and vacuum cleaners
- Electric tools, such as electric grinders and electric drills; electric machinery and apparatus for gardening, such as electric lawnmowers
- Electric machinery and appliances for office use, such as electronic desktop calculators; electric machinery and appliances for weighing or measuring, such as health meters
- Electric inhalers and other medical Electrical machinery and apparatus
- Electrical machinery and apparatus for air conditioning (excluding air conditioners), such as electric fans and electric dehumidifiers Electric machinery and apparatus for heat preservation, such as electric heaters, electric kotatsu, and electric dehumidifiers
- Electric machinery and apparatus for hairdressing, such as hair dryers and electric razors and apparatus for exercise, such as electric massage machines and running machines
- Fluorescent lamps Electric lighting fixtures such as fluorescent lamps and fixtures, electronic clocks and electric clocks
Precautions
- Please bring batteries and cell batteries removed
- Equipment subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law cannot be collected
- Equipment generated in the course of business activities cannot be collected
Used clothing/clothes
The following items are eligible.
- T-shirts, polo shirts, shirts, suits, skirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, jerseys, blouses, dresses, children’s clothing, coats, jackets (including down jackets), pajamas, leather clothing, kimono, ties, and other clothing
- Towels, blankets (quilts and mattresses are not eligible), towels, curtains, blankets, and other fabrics
Precautions
- Please bring washed and dried items in plastic bags, etc.
Items containing cotton wadding, rubber, or vinyl cannot be collected. - Items containing cotton wadding or made of rubber or vinyl cannot be collected.
- Items other than used clothing and used cloth, such as hangers and wrapping vinyl, cannot be collected.
- Items generated in the course of business activities cannot be collected.
