Notice of Free School Lunch Fees

Since fiscal year 2014, the town has been gradually reducing the amount of school lunch expenses to be paid by parents in order to reduce the financial burden on households raising children and to promote nutrition education. From April 2025, school lunch fees for town elementary and junior high schools will be reduced to free of charge in order to further enhance child-rearing support. The school lunch fee is free of charge for students enrolled in town elementary and junior high schools, and no application is required. School lunches are living teaching materials that support the physical and mental growth of growing children and help them acquire the ability to lead healthy and fulfilling lives throughout their lives. We will continue to provide safe, secure, and delicious school lunches that are appropriate for children’s growth.
