To support residents affected by rising prices for energy, food, and other good, the town provides a support payment of 5,000 yen to all residents.

The timing for submitting required documents and the payment schedule have not yet been determined. We will announce details on our website once they are finalized.

Persons registered as residents of Oizumi Town as of the reference date
(Reference date will be determined subsequently.)

Amount of Payment

5,000 yen/per person

Application Method/Payment Period

The payment for the entire household will be deposited into the bank account of the household head’s name.  
Details regarding the application process, deadlines, and payment schedule will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

Individuals seeking refuge due to domestic violence (DV) from their spouses or others may submit documents for benefit
applications to their current residence rather than their registered residence if certain requirements are met. 

Please consult the Strategic Planning Division (Kikaku Senryaku-ka) by February 27th (Friday), 2026.

Please beware of “Bank transfer scam” and “Personal information scams” disguised as these benefit payments.

Town hall staff will never ask you to operate an ATM or transfer fees.
If you receive any suspicious phone calls, letters, or emails, please contact the Oizumi Town Office, your local police station, or the police consultation hotline (#9110).
