Acceptance of School Enrollment Application for Foreign Children

Guardians of foreign national’s children who wish their child to attend a municipal primary school from April, 2021 are required to submit a school enrollment application. As a notice and the application form will be sent to eligible households, please take procedures.

If you fail to take the procedures, please note that your child will not be able to attend the primary school even if your child has received  “Shugaku Kenko Shindan (the health examination for admission to the elementary school)”. If you can’t come at the designated date and time due to an unavoidable reason, or if you don’t wish your child to enter the school, please let us know without fail. 

Eligibles

Guardians of children who meet the following conditions.

  • Children who were born from April 2nd, 2014 to April 1st, 2015.
  • Children who have been registered as a resident in the town.
  • Both a guardian and his/her child have a wish to enter a primary school.  

Location to submit the application

Educational Administration Division (Kyoiku-Kanri-ka) on the 3rd floor in the town hall

January 12th (Tue.) – January 15th (Fri.) , 2021

Time

  • 08:30 – 11:30
  • 13:00 – 17:00

Things to Bring

  • Notice of “Acceptance of School Enrollment Application for Children of Foreign Nationalities”
  • Shugaki-Shonin-Shinseisho (Application for approval of school attendance) (Please complete the application form beforehand.) 
  • Bank-Book of Gunma Bank & its registered seal
  • Residence Card (Zairyu Card) for both you and your child
