Japanese Events and Holidays in June

June is season of “Tsuyu (the rainy season)”.

The rainy season used to be associated with endless misty rain, but recently it seems to have become a season of torrential rain. So, please pay attention to the weather information so that you can avoid disasters.

During the rainy season, please be aware that mold and rotten food are also more likely to occur.

By the way, there are no national holidays in June unfortunately.

Third Sunday in June: Father’s Day

Father’s Day in Japan is the third Sunday in June.
Maybe it’s because there aren’t many events in June, but many people seem to forget about Father’s Day.
