Acceptance of donations for the Kingdom of Tonga stricken by Volcanic Eruptions will end.

The underwater volcanic eruption that occurred in the Tonga Islands on January 15th, 2022, and the resulting earthquake and tsunami disaster, caused great damage to the Kingdom of Tonga and its people, and the full extent of the damage is still unknown.

Our town has had close ties with the current Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights since the days of the Tokyo Sanyo Electric Rugby Club, and it goes without saying that players from the Kingdom of Tonga have played a part in the success of that team. Over the years, the activities of the players have energized and inspired the townspeople.
With this relationship, the town is seeking donations to help those affected by the recent eruption in the Kingdom of Tonga. We would like to ask for your understanding of the purpose of this donation and your cooperation.

Acceptance of donations will end.

Donations will be accepted until March 31st, 2022(Thu.). Please note that after that date, transfers to the special account will no longer be available.
