With the prolonged effects of COVID-19 infection, a benefit of 100,000 yen per household will be provided to households exempt from resident tax, etc., so that people who face various difficulties can promptly receive support for their lives and livelihoods.

Households exempt from resident tax
Households that are registered residents of Oizumi Town as of the base date (December 10th, 2021), and all household members are exempt from paying the per capita resident tax for fiscal year 2021.(Households consisting only of dependents of those who are subject to resident tax and households with undeclared taxpayers are not eligible.) In addition, for those households that moved into Oizumi Town in between January 2nd, 2021 and the base date, and are considered to be exempt from resident tax, notification will be mailed at a later date.
Households with sudden changes in household income
Households whose household finances suddenly change between January 2021 and September 2022 due to the impact of COVID-19 infection, and the estimated income of each member of the household for one year is less than the amount equivalent to the resident tax exemption level.

Please submit the confirmation form by mail. As for households that moved into the town in between January 2nd, 2021 and the base date, please submit an application by mail or at the call center.
Households with sudden changes in household income
Please submit an application with required documents by mail or at the call center.
Please submit the application form “Juminzei Hikazei Setai ni taisuru Rinji Tokubetsu Kyufukin (Kakei Kyuhen Setai bun) Shinseisho (Seikyusho) (Application Form for Extraordinary Special Benefits for Resident Tax Exempt Households (for Households with Sudden Changes in Household Income) (Request Form)”, and after examining whether the application meets the requirements for payment, the money will be transferred to the designated account.

- Documents verifying the respective income status of all household members who are subject to per capita resident tax for the fiscal year 2021 are required.
