Online Training Course for Promoting Stable Employment of Foreign Residents (Learning of Japanese)

Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) will carry out the Training Course for Promoting Stable Employment of Foreign Residents as a project of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare so that foreign residents who are seeking a job in Japan can acquire Japanese language ability and get stable jobs.

You can now register for our online course starting in June.

Course

The detail schedule and other information will be explained at the orientation which is held in the beginning of the training. 

Level-1

This course is for those who are learning Japanese for the first time, or those who can speak some Japanese but have difficulty in reading and writing hiragana and katakana.

 

Level-2

This course is for those who can read and write Hiragana and Katakana
and have some experience studying Japanese.

This course is also designed for those who are able to communicate in simple Japanese in their daily lives.

Level-3 

This course is designed for those who can read and write Hiragana, Katakana, and simple Kanji, and who can make a certain level of conversation in their daily life. Please develop your ability further so that you can speak appropriately at your workplace in accordance with the situation and the person to talk with.

 

Note:

  • JICE will send an e-mail to the applicants to take the written level check test. If you do not take the test within the specified period, you will not be able to receive the training.
  • If there are many applications, we may stop accepting applications early.
  • The course duration is subject to change.

Conditions for take the Online Course

  • If we receive many applications for a course, we will close the application early.
  • You will receive an e-mail from JICE on the “Level Check Test”.
  • Please take the test at your own home or some other quiet place.
  • You may not be able to take the test because of the test results.
  • Online communication costs shall be covered by the course participants.                                           
  • Please make sure you have a room where you can do things such as housekeeping by yourself.
