National Health Insurance Injury and Sickness Allowance on COVID-19 to be terminated

In light of the policy that COVID-19 shall not be considered as a new influenza or other infectious disease under the “Act on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases” and be positioned as a category 5 infectious disease from May 8, 2023, the payment of sickness benefits for insured persons infected with new coronavirus disease after that date to be terminated.
