Reservations for Issuance of Seal Certificate and Residence Certificate (Online Application)

If you make an online reservation for issuance of certificates such as a copy of your residence certificate, you will be given priority in receiving them without filling out an application form when you come to the counter.

However, only the person who made the reservation will be able to receive the certificate.

Types of certificates that can be reserved

  • Copy of Residence Certificate (limited to the applicant or a member of the same household as the applicant)
  • Issuance of Seal Certificate (limited to the applicant’s own)

Application Method

Please apply using the application form.
If the application is submitted by 4:00 p.m., it can be received on or after the next open day of the application date at the earliest.
Applications received after 4:00 p.m. will be treated as applications for the following day.
Please specify one of the week days within one week of the application.

What you need to receive the issued certificate 

Receipt of the reserved copy of Residence Certificate

  • Identification documents (My number card, driver’s license, etc.)
  • Charge for service (300 yen per copy)

Receipt of Seal Certificate

  • Corresponding Seal Registration Card
  • Charge for service (300 yen per certificate)

How to receive the reserved certificate

Please tell a staff that you applied for online reservation at the counter of the Resident Affairs Division.  After receiving your signature, you will be received the certificate. 

Notes.

Please note that we will not be able to issue the certificate the following cases if any of the followings apply. 

  • When someone other than the applicant comes to the counter to the certificate.
  • If you did not bring your identification documents or seal registration card.
  • When there is a discrepancy between the content of the application and the content of the certificate.

Internet applications cannot accept a copy of a residence certificate containing My Number.

If you wish to have a copy of your residence card containing your My Number, please apply for it at the counter.
If you are unable to come to the town hall on the scheduled date and come back later to receive the certificate, please understand that it will take longer to deliver the certificate.   

If the applicant is unable to receive the application two weeks after the scheduled date, the application will be canceled. 

Certificate cannot be issued prior to the scheduled date of receipt.
