Partial subsidies for enrollment in nursing school and other schools

In order to enhance local medical care, the town will subsidize a portion of the entrance fee for new students or their guardians at schools that train public health nurses, midwives, nurses, and assistant nurses.

Oizumi Town Nursing Staff Entrance Fee Subsidy

Application period

Within 6 months from the date of enrollment in school, etc. However, Saturday, Sunday and national holidays are excluded.

From 8:30 to 17:15 

Eligibility

Those who entered a school designated under the Public Health Nurse, Midwife, and Nurse Act or a public health nurse training school, midwife training school, nurse training school, or assistant nurse training school in 2024 and have an address in the town at the time of admission.
Or, those who have moved out of town to commute to school.
However, if a member of the household to which the subsidy recipient belongs is in arrears of town taxes, he/she is not eligible for the subsidy.

Amount of subsidy

 Up to 100,000 yen, an amount equivalent to one-half of the entrance fee paid to the school, etc. (any fraction less than 1,000 yen is rounded down) 
Please note that the subsidy will be granted only once per grantee.
However, applicants who withdrew from the program or failed to qualify in the 2028 academic year may be required to return the subsidy. 

Application Method

Please apply to the Health Promotion Division with the application form and necessary documents.
If you have withdrawn from school, please submit a report of withdrawal from the Oizumi Town Nursing Admission Fee Subsidy to the Health Promotion Division within one month of your withdrawal.

Documents required for application

  1. Oizumi Town Nursing Staff Entrance Fee Grant Application Form
  2. Receipt of the entrance fee or document showing the amount paid as the entrance fee
  3. Documents certifying that the applicant is enrolled in a school, etc.
  4. Documents proving that no member of the household to which the subsidy recipient belongs is in arrears of town taxes
  5. A copy of the certificate of residence, a copy of the certificate of removal of the certificate of residence, or a copy of the attached copy of the family register of the person eligible for the subsidy
  6. Documents that confirm the payee’s bank account (e.g., a copy of the account at a financial institution, the name of the payee, etc.)
