Infection Control Measures

We ask that town residents continue to take basic infection control measures such as ventilation, hand washing, and wearing masks when appropriate, as well as avoiding going out when feeling unwell.

COVID-19 infection was reclassified as a category 5 infectious disease on May 8, 2023, and the transition to a regular medical care system was underway, but the transition period ended at the end of March, and the normal system will be in place from April. From April onward, general medical institutions will provide medical treatment.
If you experience fever or other symptoms, please first call your family doctor, nearest medical institution, or other medical facilities close to you.
In addition, as with other illnesses, you will be charged for medical expenses at the usual counter in accordance with the co-payment ratio of your medical insurance.
